An exciting major contract: for a grain mill we have constructed several grain silos, each with a volume of 16,000 m³. The outer wall of each silo consists of double and triple metal sheeting, which we assembled with around 40,000 screws and washers each. The installation time for each silo was only about four weeks. The silos were then filled with a capacity of 400 tons per hour. As the general contractor we carried out all the necessary operations - from planning and installation to the turnkey handover of the plant, which is probably one of the largest grain silo plants in Germany. Our customer can store around 200,000 tonnes of grain in the facility - and thus always has sufficient raw material for the daily production of over 1,300 tonnes of flour.
